Susan Boyle lost in
Prior to the finals, it has been known to everyone that Susan Boyle was criticized by many. People called her a fraud, scamming the audience. She mentioned that it was her first time to enter a singing contest. Exactly! She had to do that because in order for one to be accepted on this highly acclaimed show, a contestant must be an amateur. However, it was later discovered that she was able to record a CD for a charity organization, of which only 1000 copies released. One of the songs she performed in that recording was "cry Me a River." This news spread before the finals. Could these criticisms have influenced viewers’ decision as to who to vote?
